After becoming the first person the win the ‘Best International Flow’ award at the Hip Hop Awards under the auspices of the Black Entertainment Television (BET), Sarkodie was given the singular honour to present this year’s award.
It was not just a presentation of the award but an additional responsibility to announce the winner who will take over from him and that was a great moment for the Africa rap god.
Although it was conducted virtually, the composure, articulation and vibe Sarkodie exude was heartwarming and a solid depiction of the virality of his relevance and the high regards the international platforms accord him.
With a mixture of professionalism and swag, Sarkodie mentioned the category and expressed how he feels to be given the privilege to present the ‘Best International Flow’ award at the 2020 Hip Hop awards.
He went ahead to mention the nominees as follows: Djonja (Brazil), Kaaris (France), Khaligraph Jones (Kenya), Meryl (France), Miss Banks (UK), Nasty C (South Africa) and Stormzy (UK).
