ohn Dramani Mahama has expressed concern over the ruling NPP government’s response to the secessionist group operating in the Volta Region

The NDC flagbearer says President Akufo-Addo and his government’s response on the matter has been poor.

“It’s clear that this President hasn’t taken this matter seriously. I mean the whole government, the security services, it’s like they have a very lackadaisical attitude towards the issue of Western Togoland,” he said.

This comes after the President urged citizens to remain calm as security agencies are dealing with the matter.
